Width x Length= Total Square Inches
Total Square Inches x Price per Square Inch = Quilting Price

Batting
My favorite batting is 100% Cotton. I have 100% Cotton and Hobbs 80/20 currently in stock. You can buy it from me at competitive prices to use in your quilt, if you'd like.

Or, you may purchase batting (packaged or on the roll) and bring it to me to use in your quilt. Many customers like to use their 40% off coupon from JoAnn's to buy batting for their quilts. I am happy to work with whatever batting you prefer. But, chose wisely. The batting should enhance your beautiful quilt.

Purchased Batting Recommendations-
I have had several customers bring me the packaged Fairfield Quilter's 80/20 batting from JoAnn's. I do not recommend it as it is too thin and pulls apart very easily. You will be much happier if you spend a few more dollars ($5- $10) and choose the Fairfield Cotton Classic Batting. (It is in a green package). It is 100% cotton and is much stronger and nicer to work with. You will be a lot happier with the end product. Trust me about this!

JoAnn's Bamboo Batting is also very nice to work with and will create a beautiful quilt.

Of course, packaged batting from any quilt store is the best choice. I would still lean towards the 100% cotton battings, over blends, but that is just my preference.
