What I'm working on...
I am piecing two not-totally-matching-but-very-similiar quilts for my granddaughters, Audrey & Megan. I am using yellow, pink and raspberry fabrics with one quilt having a yellow floral backing and the other quilt having a pink with white polka dot backing. The pattern is "Hip to Be Square" by Sandy Brawner. You can see that the blocks are a 2 1/2" square center square with 2 1/2" strips of the different fabrics around it with a 6 1/2" square between each block and is on point. It is very simple, just a little time consuming to piece two at the same time. I am quilting it with a pantograph named "Timeless Hearts".
