Binding Your Quilts By Machine

I have always wanted to learn how to bind my quilts by machine, so when I found this website that had a tutorial, I just had to share it with you. It is from Color Girl Quilts.

Sharon shares how to make the binding, sew it on the quilt, connect the binding ends and either finish the binding by machine or by hand. It looks pretty good to me!

Piece of My Mind...

You can bring me your quilt binding you when you drop off your quilt top.  Then I will sew it on for you after the quilt is quilted but before the quilt is taken off of the quilting machine. Then, it is ready for you to finish stitching down at home by hand (or machine).

This is a picture of the binding being sewn onto a quilt while still on the Gammill.

Just another angle of the same thing.

Do you think that I could have found a wilder quilt to show you this technique? Actually, the binding is perfect for this quilt... lime green, black and white stripes!

Here is a corner all neatly done.

I will sew on the made-by-You, ready-to-go binding for only $10.00!
