Several months ago I quilted this Purple Butterfly quilt for a very sweet customer, Dina. She had made the butterfly applique blocks many years ago and wanted to have the quilt completed to give to her granddaughter. I freehand quilted the feathers in the borders and copied the butterfly shape to freehand a butterfly in the corners (the bottom picture). It turned out very nice and a perfect gift for a little girl. It's beautiful, Dina!

Robin, I subscribed to your 'feed' over a year ago...I got one posting and then nothing. I assumed that you weren't posting then this morning I got a years worth! I LOVE seeing quilts. Your Montana quilt is fabulous still.
